PRAISE THE LORD!! ~Journal 8~

Praise!
Thank you so much for praying! The young couple I asked you to pray for about a week ago with the partially miscarried fetus came in for a check-up just a few minutes ago. Most of the coagulated blood has been absorbed and we saw the fetus and it's beating heart!!! It was so tiny! Like a twinkling star! The doctor took her (Victoria) off complete bedrest and updated it to partial bedrest. She is still at risk for a miscarriage but overall it looks a lot better. She is feeling better and even looks better than last week. They are due back in a month to check up on the fetus. What a great God we serve! He who hears our prayers has acted to absorb the clotted blood and continue to knit this baby together within a sick woman!
O Lord, our Rock and Great Physician, how wonderful you are for answering our prayers! You who sit on the throne surrounded by the cherubim and the 24 elders, at whose voice heaven shakes and the temple fills with smoke, who put the stars into place and set the earth in its orbit, you yet listen to the prayers of your people on behalf of this little one! May you continue to knit this baby together and do a great work in this young woman and allow us the chance to minister to her and her husband in whatever way they need.
Prayer:
For a woman named Margarita. She is scheduled for a D&C tomorrow morning because her body has not responded to the medications and released her dead fetus and a lot of coagulated blood. Though this operation is relatively common, it is a very delicate operation involving high risk for the mother. The doctor fears to find additional complications which would explain why her body did not release the aborted fetus on its own, besides the strong medications we gave her.
